GOODWOOD REVIVAL FLOOR MURAL
Chichester
I had the incredible opportunity to design and paint a vibrant floor mural for the renowned Goodwood Revival Festival in Chichester—a celebration of vintage culture that effortlessly transports visitors back in time. Collaborating closely with the production team, I was immersed in the essence of the event, which allowed me to craft a design that beautifully encapsulated the festival’s nostalgic spirit.
The mural was painted onto the floor of the stage area and catwalk, guiding attendees along the pathways that led to the heart of the festivities. The brief I received was clear yet inviting: to capture the iconic vibe of 1960s Carnaby Street. I was also encouraged to infuse my own creative flair into the concept, employing a distinctive colour palette that breathed new life into this classic theme.
Emphasising bold hues and abstract patterns, the mural was not just a visual feast; it was an engaging representation of the joy and exuberance of that decade. The floor mural not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the festival but also offered attendees an immersive experience as they navigated the vibrant landscape—making their journey through the event as memorable as the vintage spirit that filled the air.
