To complement the launch of the new roller skate rink at the iconic Brighton i360, I was commissioned to design and paint the floor of this expansive space. Given the creative freedom by the client, I embarked on an imaginative journey, drawing inspiration from several pieces in my portfolio that resonated with their vision.

This large-scale project demanded a design that would deliver an immediate visual impact, encapsulating the spirit of fun and movement.

With these objectives in mind, I conceived a dynamic floor mural that bursts with vibrant colors and striking geometric shapes. The design was meticulously crafted not only to be visually captivating but also to enhance the experience for roller skaters gliding across its surface. Additionally, the mural was designed to be visually appealing from the viewing platforms above, ensuring that both skaters and spectators could appreciate its artistic energy.

My aim was to infuse the rink with a sense of joy and excitement, creating a playful atmosphere that harmonises with the exhilaration of skating in such a remarkable setting.
